511 M Street is a contemporary residential project featuring bold, cantilevered asymmetrical bay windows on the front façade. Open-concept floor plans and floating steel stairs define the interior spaces and highlight the exposed steel structure.
Located on a rare double lot within the city, the project consists of a fully new structure spanning the full width of the property. Early in construction, unanticipated conditions related to the neighboring wall and foundation presented significant challenges. SGI Structural provided timely engineering solutions that enabled the client to continue construction efficiently and remain on schedule.
