Tucked into the Capitol Hill neighborhood, this project showcases the blended design approaches of WOD Development and Lee Design Studios. From the street, the development respects the historic charm of Capitol Hill through generous roof setbacks and material textures that align with the character of the more than 100-year-old neighborhood. From the rear, however, the project reveals a contemporary expression with smooth modern cladding, solar electric panels, and three outdoor decks.
SGI Structural provided a specially designed TJI floor system that allowed for structural penetrations, completely eliminating the need for mechanical bulkheads while giving the builder cut-to-fit flexibility inherent to a TJI framing system.
