Fremont Village Square is a commercial development housing a variety of businesses. BSE designed a 3500 square foot office expansion to the 3rd and 4th floors along the rear of the building.
This project focused on maximizing the construction value and working within the existing facility footprint. The new expansion framed out an existing patio space and required supplemental vertical and lateral support elements throughout existing structure. These included new plywood-faced metal stud shear walls and a wide variety and combinations of concrete, steel, and metal stud solutions to accomplish a successful design.
